Church Membership

The Church is made up of people who belong to God’s family. Because of the relationship they have with Jesus Christ, the family members enjoy being together. Christians from around the world regularly unite to fellowship in Foursquare Churches. At some point, most of them ask what it means that they have declared an allegiance to Jesus Christ and are making an open commitment to the body of believers with whom they worship. It also means that they hold to certain truths and adhere to the Foursquare Bylaws as they relate to membership.

Make God Visible.

We are Mirrors.

Our call is to reflect the image of Jesus. In other words, we simply want to be a mirrored life of Jesus. We have come to the conclusion that this is what it truly means to be human; this is what we were made for. Not a one day of the week kind of relationship, but an everyday necessity.  Dependent on the Holy Spirit to lead and transform us to better reflect Jesus. We don’t simply want to believe in Jesus, we want to trust in Jesus.

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” —2 Corinthians 3:18 NKJV

We are Light Reflectors.

We are all becoming someone. The only choice we get is who we become. When we follow Jesus, we become the light in a dark and broken world. We become the glimmer of hope people have been longing for. We become what Jesus says to his disciples: ' “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.’
—Matthew 5:14 ESV

We are Christ Revealers.

We help unveil the beauty and majesty of Jesus through the way we live. Everything we do now becomes a God breathed creative project to reveal even a small glimpse of Jesus. We are not aiming for perfection, but are motivated by agape love for God and our neighbor.

We are Love Distributors.

We take the love that we have received and take it to every corner of our world. Our prayer is that our spiritual formation would not only be a private internal thing, but that it would benefit others. This is for our neighbors, our coworkers, and everyone we could come in contact with.
